2 to 3 ounces Scotch whiskey or gin Club soda or ginger ale
Peel of 1 lemon
Preparation
Put sugar and club soda in a 12-ounce collins glass and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the ice, Scotch or gin, and stir. Fill up with soda or ginger ale. Garnish with lemon peel.
This sauce is slightly magical. The texture cloaks pasta much like a traditional meat sauce does, and the flavors are deep and rich, but it’s actually vegan!
