Peanut Butter

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Too thick

If the jar is glass, heating it (without the lid, please) in the microwave for 30 seconds or so will soften most peanut butters. Or peanut butter can be thinned with one of these five peanut butter thinners: soft butter, cooking oil, maple syrup, hot water, or orange juice. Or, if the sandwich isn’t going to be eaten until later or if you happen to like frozen peanut butter sandwiches, you can freeze the bread first so that it doesn’t tear when it’s spread with stiff peanut butter.
