Lemon Granita

Ingredients

4 cups water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 tablespoon orange-blossom water
1 1/4 cups lemon juice
The grated rind of 1 lemon (optional)

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Boil the water and sugar together for a few minutes, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Cool, and add orange-blossom water and lemon juice.

    Step 2

    Stir well, and continue as in the “basic method” (page 423).
