Horseradish Burger—A Burger with a Kick.

Cooks' Note

You can add a tremendous variety of spices to the raw ground beef and have the result come out very well. For “onion and tomato buns,” an alternative to high-glycemic hamburger buns, dip onion and tomato slices in egg white and coat with grated Parmesan cheese. Brown in oil over high heat until crisped and lightly browned, about 1 minute a side. Sprinkle with pepper and seasoned salt. Serve each burger between an onion slice and a tomato slice.
