Black Cat

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. For one topper, you will need 2 black gumdrops, a length of black licorice lace, 1 black licorice wheel, 1 black licorice drop, and 2 red round candy sprinkles (nonpareils). Trim gumdrops and stick them together for the head and body. Snip licorice lace for arms, legs, tail, and whiskers. Cut 2 small triangles from licorice wheel for ears. Poke holes in gumdrops with a toothpick and insert sprinkle eyes (use kitchen tweezers), licorice drop nose, and licorice-lace arms, legs, and tail. Scrape away sugar around nose and attach licorice whiskers. Place black cat on frosted cupcake.
