Balsamic Vinaigrette

This dressing is especially good on tossed greens with tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled blue cheese.

Ingredients

1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake well. Let stand for at least 1/2 hour before using.
