Ingredients

1/2 cup sliced, hulled strawberries
1 pony (1 ounce) whiskey
1 pony (1 ounce) Southern Comfort
1 pony (1 ounce) Grand Marnier
1 pony (1 ounce) lemon juice
1 tablespoon superfine granulated sugar, or to taste
1 cup cracked ice
Garnish: slice of orange

Preparation

  1. In a blender, blend strawberries, whiskey, Southern Comfort, lemon juice and, if desired, sugar for 10 seconds. Add cracked ice and blend for 15 seconds. Pour into a chilled 12-ounce glass. Garnish with the slice of orange.
