Junior's Russian Dressing

5.0

(1)

This dressing is served on the side with Junior's Reuben sandwiches. It's so good that you'll find many other foods it matches up perfectly with, like sliced roasted turkey or chicken salad, a cold poached salmon salad, cold roast beef, or a fresh tomato salad.

Recipe information

  • Yield

    Makes about 1 3/4 cups

Ingredients

3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise (don't use light or nonfat)
1/3 cup bottled chili sauce
1/4 cup drained pickle relish
Half of a large dill pickle, finely chopped
1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    1. Whisk the ketchup, mayonnaise, chili sauce, and relish together in a deep medium bowl.

    Step 2

    2. Stir together the pickle, green pepper, and onion until mixed in a small bowl. Add to the ketchup-mayonnaise mixture and whisk until evenly distributed throughout. Store in the refrigerator, tightly covered, and use within 2 days. Serve cold.
